2020 Annual Meeting

Thank you to all our members who voted in the Annual Meeting by mail this year, and congratulations to our elected officers for 2020-2022:

Members also voted to approve the minutes of the 2019 Annual Meeting and the appropriation of $2,500 in WHS funds to replace lighting in the workroom of the carriage house basement at the Babcock-Smith House.

We would also like to congratulate the recipient of this year’s History Award, Reed Tremblay, and the recipients of the Julia Award, Betty-Jo Cugini Greene and Jim Karpeichik.

We hope to see you again in person in future months.

The mission of the Westerly Historical Society is to research, study, and preserve local history in our community.

We are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization with a dedicated group of members and officers. We own many historical artifacts and an extensive photographic collection. We present a monthly lecture series and issue a monthly newsletter containing scholarly research.
